Born in England of an English mother and Jamaican father in 1973. Attended Thomas Tallis secondary school in London. Convicted of petty crimes including muggings. Converted to Islam. Member of  Brixton Mosque, in south London. Thought to have spent time in Egypt, Israel,Turkey, Pakistan, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and possibly Afghanistan. Accused of attempted bombing of American Airlines flight 63 on December 22, 2001. Suspected of connections with al-Qaeda.
